got a new weekend mod

and i did it all by myself this weekend. i'm sure Rob is thrilled to hear that

so i kept the weekend mods goin again this past weekend...........i used some of my bday cash to get a siruis satellite radio. i can say after havin it for a few days, i love it. i have like 200 channels and its like 12/month. i figure i could work an extra hour overtime each month to cover that but its cool. the stuff they say about cd quality......true, very clear. when i went to activate it, they asked if i wanted the playboy channel free for life. i was all like " sweet, sure".........thats pretty funny **** there.

anyway, its fm modulated, and installing it was simple. the hardest part was finding a cool lookin spot to mount it, i think i have that now though, right above my rear view mirror. i'll take pics today or tomorrow.

i bought the fm modulated one........no difference than getting a xm ready cd player or getting it hard wired in. it works like a cell phone, with a 3 bar reception gauge. mine is always on 3 bars, unless i am in a tunnel or covered area, plus its way easier to install

Re: got a new weekend mod

I had horrid reception in the Firebird with an FM modulator. Some parts of my town I would completely lose it to a radio station

Yes, but they can be had for free. And by free, I mean they only cost every bit of morality and goodness that you have ever had in your heart when you steal the songs from those poor, starving artists.

b/c of our pirating, we are forcing stars to live a life of only semi-luxury. look at britney spears, she had to downgrade to a jx35 personal jet......this one doesnt even have a remote for the dvd changer like the jx36 model she previously owned.........and its all b/c of her songs being stolen
