I remember seeing the show with it on it because they had one white duck and couldn't get him to quack so i don't think they did. I can't remember if they ever got him to quack though...

^^^yeah just think how un-scary darth vader would be sounding like a sweed. if youve seen the "empire of dreams" youd have seen his parts, and said "man, that wouldve sucked" if they never had the James Earl Jones hunch.

They got the duck to quack, and showed that there was indeed an echo. The characteristics of a quack just make it hard to discern the echo.
