newsgator.com

I was wandering if someone could tell me what "www.newsgator.com" is. Everytime I go to the homepage it puts something on the screen asking for my username and password, and everytime I write it just say its connecting and does nothing.:dunno:

Re: newsgator.com

probably a password theft page. you put your pw in, thinking it does something, and the webpage sends your info straight to whoever made the page

on the other hand, if you're trying to access it with firefox, it might just not be compatible... i have that problem sometimes... try opening it with IE

When it was giving me problems I try to open it with IE and it would just pop the the thing asking me for my password up, now when I look it up it takes me to the website. It looks like they sell computer software or something. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you have a trojan. I hope you didn't put your password in...

Run Ad-aware and SpyBot and hope for the best.

I don't think I have either of those programs on my computer, so I use my antivirus/spyware program which is Trend-Micro PC. I found 1 trojan. Yes I did enter my username and password to this site, :badidea: yes I really should know better than this, but thought to might have something to do with Mustangevoluton.com because it kept poping up when I'd open the home page. Hopefully this turns out to be no big deal. Thanks for the help.

Re: newsgator.com

Whatever username and password you used, you need to have it changed immediately (at least the password anyway).
