I totally agree that there should be a massive separation between church and government. If you had a country where everyone believed in the same religion that'd be fine, but when you live anywhere in North America, where you have such a huge diversity of people and cultures, I'm sorry, but religious beliefs shouldn't be brough to the forefront of a situation.
In the case of stem cell reserch, I can see the conflict involved between people, and this goes back to the same debate over human cloning as well....in a way that's kind of the same arguement because they figured that they could possibly clone someone and use the cells of that clone to treat things like diabetes, etc. Personally, I see it as this way, human beings have a heartbeat, they have blood running through their veins and they have a sketal structure. When "someone" (and I use the term very losely) is all of 2 or 3 cells in size, I don't consider that as human life. Now should that be taken advantage of? Not necessarily.... because you know that someone will always try to go that extra step further. Basicly I'm on the fence for this situation.

It's good to see all this positive enforcement of our President. Never before has the US had such a great leader! We are experiencing a great time to be an American! :patriot:
