Shelby Upgrades now Available

I had read several places that the pulleys on the Shelby blowers were not going to be changable...well now its not true....

Clicky Clicky

Can you imaging these things with a pulley, exhaust and tune?? I saw a dyno sheet for one with a TUNE ONLY: 470rwhp...That is only 8 less than my Cobra put down with exhaust, pulley, K&N and tune. If they gain 125+hp from tweaking.....mmmmmmmm

I kept saying, they will be the new beasts. There will always be a way to do a pulley change.

Re: Shelby Upgrades now Available

The stock pulley is 3.0" The smallest you can go with a pulley swap is 2.7"...which is only going to result in about a 2psi increase. This pulley swap will be useless because you will only be looking at about 20-30 rwhp increase assuming a +17 bhp per +1 psi in boost.

You CAN NOT change pulleys on this thing like you could the 03/04s THey have made it impossible. To drop to the pulleys you have listed (which were created elsewhere and these guys copied them btw) would be a waste of money. And the lower is impossible to change...I could post up the pick pointing out exactly why again.

For comparison sake, I believe my stock 03 pulley was 3.5" or 3.75" I currently have a 2.76" pulley on there. I went from 8 psi to 14-16 depending on the outside temp. Huge difference.

In summary...1-2 psi pulley swap...useless. The only way people are going to be able to do a real pulley swap is when billetflow and steigmeir finish designing their replacement front shouts so that you can do a snout swap at the same time.

This is what you are going to see instead of pulley/snout swaps:

BIG BORE Supercharger

BTW: Here is the drawing created by billetflow with all appropriate measuments for the current snout dimensions...The green is the pulley , the yellow is the snout.

Gains from this swap will be minimal for the price. Bad bang for the buck.
