I'd rather jump from a quickly moving car

than burn to death.

burning while awake has got to be THE single most painful experience ever.

yeah but if its hot enough, that pain doesnt last long before your nerve endings are singed to the point where they can no longer feel. though after a certain threshold of pain or the mind knowing immenent death, the brain will shut itself off from the body and go into basically a "Suspend" mode, alot of people with near death experiences have claimed this mode to feel like consciousness being stuck inside a hollow reverberating bubble. then you die.

Re: Bad accident at FFW

I was in a suspended mode after bashing my head in an accident in my '02 GT..

I know that feeling, and I don't remember anything before that.. back to 2-3 days prior

but still, almost guarunteed you'll feel SOMETHING before your nerve endings give out..

Re: Bad accident at FFW

yeah but its only going to hurt and be really hot for a bit. then youre going to spend what seems like an eternity inside your own mind while it goes crazy flickering through its memories as it scrambles to keep itself alive while your body melts around it.

i still think the fastest way to die would be to jump into either hot lava or a vat of superheated metals. if you jump from high enough, you will have gained enough speed so when you hit the molten material, you go into it so fast and it melts you basically the instant you hit, that youre last memory is falling, it would have melted your flesh and your head would be under the material and melted faster than your nerve impulse could tell your brain your feet were even close to heat. zero pain insta-death.

In reality, there is no way for you to possibley know any of this 100% certain. Its all pretty much theory, since you can't ask someone what it felt like to burn to death.
