AIR RIDE

Alright, i'm looking into puting some air bags in place of lowering springs etc..
now my question is, has anyone ever encountered somone who is running this type of application? or has anyone done it? and what "supporting" parts would i need? could i use Camber plates? and subframe connectors? I want to improve regity of the frame but at the same time have a ride quality like a Linclon Navigator. In when i had my 6er, she was so low and scraped half the time, and not to mention ride quality was nothing to give praised for.. I want to be able to adjust my ride height at will.. example deep driveways.. i had to usually go around the block to a void such things so my sideexhaust and Xpipe wouldnt be ****ed! What do you guys think??

Re: AIR RIDE

you really cant lower your fox much more than 1.5 inches anyway. I would keep it more sporty (even though they do make air bags for sports handling they say....) You will pretty much have to go with a stiff spring else you will keep hitting your front fender with your rims as they go up/down.

Re: AIR RIDE

Meh only reason why ive seen stang guys puts bags in their car is only for drag racing purposes. and they only use 1 bag and thats the side where most weight gets transfered over too for a better launch

Stick to the springs

Let the mini truckers stick wit the air ride systems
