Guitar Hero II is rated T for Teen and will be released for the PS2 November 7. An Xbox 360 version of the game has been announced for release next year.
I cant wait. im taking that day off to pick up the game and play it all day long. i wonder how good the Bonus Songs (the independent bands) will be, took me a while to warm up to them, but there are a few on GH1 that are badass, Decontrol and some other one is pretty badass to play.

bold ones are my favorites. Hearts "Crazy on You" is one i remember thinking hearing it on our radio what would be like in GH. awesome i finally get to see if its really "green, orange, blue, yellow, red, green"

Face-Melters = Avenged Sevenfold???

Aww... come on. Where's the Steve Vai? The Jimmy Page? The SRV? Hell, the friggin' Dragonforce?

That aside, there seems to be some good songs on there.

yeah i was hopin a little zep would make it on the game as well.

btw i just played the demo. "You Really Got Me" is a pretty fun song, went straight to hard. scared the **** out of me when the first time a 3-button chord came up, "holy **** WTF!" even mom was like "no way, 3 buttons at once? i can barely play "I Love Rock and Roll" on Medium!"

i though Rush's YYZ was a different song. they also had "Strutter" and "Shout at the Devil" on the demo, but those were eh tracks.

i was reading the site and it says in the real game you can choose bass, rythm or lead, depending on what the song has to offer. and head to head one person can be one instrument and one can be another, both can be the same and try to get the most notes, etc.

werd, if you go to the site though, it sounds a little weird, like less "hawaiian and raw" and more "nu-metal and hard".

Re: Guitar Hero II Track Listing

lol dude its guitar hero, not some pokemon adventures or **** like that.

obviously you have yet to go to a party where 2 loners are on the couch playing on easy and losing, and you grab the guitar, slap it to expert and go to the far bottom of the list, and start wailing, and everyone goes from playing cards/dancing to huddled around the big screen watching you tackle Spanish Castle Magic on expert like it was a Blink182 song on easy. better yet, is after your done, you pick up a real guitar and play the same song just as good.

Re: Guitar Hero II Track Listing

Oh, and if there are any Dethlok fans, there's going to be a song from them in the misc section. It's called Thunderhorse. It's pretty badass. Here's the song (it's at the begining of the show)
