:angryfire No ****, AOL sucks. Those ***** will not cancel an acount. Years ago when I had an account with them I called to cancelled it because it was suppose to be a free trial, but they started billing me anyway, and when I called them they told me that to cancel the account they needed a bank account, or credit card # for this reason, and that reason, and like a dumb *** I gave them my Checking account #. This was back when I was 18, or 19, and was living tight on money. Anyway they started drawing about $50 or so out of it a month, and I started bouncing check because of it.(I think I bounced 2) So I went to the bank to find out why I was bouncing check, because I know I wasn't spending more money than I had, and they told me that AOL had been drawing money out of my account, so I told the bank to quit letting them draw money out of my account. Afterwards I called AOL to talk about this, and they gave me the whole runaround about how I gave them my account # so that they could do a direct withdrawal, and I could tell that I probably would never get that money back, so I told the guy to too cancel my AOL account again, (of course I'm pretty pissed off this time)and he starts telling me all the reason why they can't cancel it, and he's talking to me like he's better than me or something, so I just snapped on him, even started talking about his Mama, which is something I don't do unless I'm really pissed off, and am trying to piss someone off, because to me talking about someone mama is fighting words.(Of course I talking to him over the phone so I couldn't fight him) I'm not trying to saying snapping on someone is the best way to solve your problems but the bastards at AOL don't understand anything else, and after that incident I never heard from them again.
