Shooting Cars

Do you guys watch "Shooting Cars" on Speed Channel? They hade Three GT500's for that upcoming Will Smith movie. They jumped Two of them, tore up the front end on both and then they sawed off the front end of one for in - car camera shots There is probably a GT500 motor going on E-Bay soon. The owner of the movie car company has four or five classic Mustangs, it is a pretty cool show.

Re: Shooting Cars

you sure the ones they ****ed up were real GT500's? were they the fake modern 2007 version or the real deal?

im sure the ones they total just look like the real cars. Hell even Fast N Furious doesnt have a budget to destroy multiple real cars, they have different version for different tasks.

Yes they were real GT500's. You could tell by the way the nose droped as soon as it left the jump.

Actually...they were the "fake modern ones" that he was refering to. They weren't the "real" ones from the 60s.

I saw the show and am curious about whether they were real fake ones or fake fake ones. I mean, I know there is a surplus of them on dealer floors right now, but I can't imagine them ripping up 2 "rare" cars like that. Then again, movie types don't really care and blow nice cars up all the time.

None the less...the nose dropped like a lead balloon once it left the ramp...and the weight of the car really carried it through the braking on the first jump and somewhat on the second to the point they couldn't miss the barricades. lol
