a song i've been working on for a little while

It's an acoustic/electric blues song i've been working on. Recorded the acoustic track a couples weeks ago and finally got the solo guitar I wanted for it recorded and put together. Whenever I can get ahold of a bass i'll get that recorded. Check it out and let me know what you think of it.

I hate to be negative - especially because you are a better guitar player than I, but the music doesn't 'flow' very well. It's disjointed and harsh at times. The tracks don't seem to always be in sync with each other.

There are times when everything 'works' and it sounds great though. The beat fluctuates a bit which is distracting. The ending solo doesn't tie in as elegantly as it should.

Overall, it's a good start - and I assume you are doing all the tracks yourself which is causing some of the timing issues, but I think you can work those out.

As much as I hate to agree with the northern guy. He made some very good points about how the beat fluctuates and the tracks being out of sync. But overall I like the sound it has that southern blues sound which I really like Nice Work

yeah i have to agree, but i know how hard it is to sync two guitar tracks with no beat to use, almost retarded how much of a pita it is. though at times, the lead was a bit too overpowering, listening to it again, the lead should not have started until the first rythm riff was complete, so the lead should start when you start strumming the rythm section.
