Re: They captured Abu Hamza al-Muhajir

I'm arguing with the people at Ogrish.com, all the anti-american insurgent loving idiots to be exact. I just gave them that link, I hope they'll cry themselves to sleep tonight.

I think the best news we could get is getting Bin Laden......... whenever that is.

Sweet. I think Mr. Bin Laden is not far behind. You can only run so far and hide for so long.

The best part is this: even if Bin Laden is still alive and on the run, he is living a more miserable life than he would ever live if he was a US prisoner. It makes me happy inside.

I'm almost glad we haven't found him yet. This way he gets to suffer for a good, long time.

Osama would never risk an plane flight or ocean voyage to get somewhere like South America. The US would seize any ship on international water and force any plane down with him in it. He has to surround himself with only people he has 100% trust in knowing they would die for him without a second thought or he would already be dead or caught. He cannot trust anyone outside is itny circle and to take a ship or plane would allow to many people to know where he is and collect the $25,000,000 to 50,000,000 bounty on his head.

So he is still in the safest place on earth for him. either the Pashtun mountians between Pakistan and Afghanistan or in North Africa around Sudan or Somalia

As you can see from the maps below the mountain rang between Afghanistan which run along the border Pakistan is over 1500 mile long and finding a small group of people would be very difficult. Remember Erick Rudolph hid in a small area of mountains on the border with NC, SC and Georgis from 98 to 2003. avoiding capture from the FBI, National guards, Militia Men, tracking dogs and Rangers. So hiding in some of the world roughest mountian range in Pakistan is easy especially with the help of Taliban and Pashtun sympathizers.

The other place Osama could be safe is Somalia where there is no law or order and Islamic Extremist and fighters have recently taken the country.

Re: They captured Abu Hamza al-Muhajir

I think he's in Pakistan due to the fact that they will not aid in the extradition of any terrorist suspect hiding in their country. Nor will they allow any country looking for terrorists to search their lands. It is the most friendly place for him at this moment.

fair enough. i guess that would be a downside to putting your face on tv in terrorist tapes... but by all accounts bin laden is highly intelligent. i don't want to devolve into a conspiracy theorist or anything.. but there are methods for altering appearance.. surgery and disguises and such. there are ways he could keep himself safe even in other countries...

i just couldn't imagine myself sitting in a place where people expect me to be. misinformation and misdirection are formidable tools

One of the biggest problems for Osama is he is 6'4'' That is a giant for a Arab. Typical height of a Arab is 5'6'' He stands out big time. That is why any suspicious arabs taller than 6 ft going thru major airports are really looked at closely
