Thumbs up Walmart vs. Target - Price War!

Walmart has declared a price war on Target and say they are making the most aggressive stance on prices ever. Target has followed suit, also slashing prices.

This is expected to last through the holiday season, so take advantage of it. Both companies are refusing to be undersold and will beat competitve prices and they are also making huge purchases on key holiday items to be able to drop prices even further.

Be sure to take advantage of this.

Hm...sounds like a good deal. Today We spent about 30 minutes walking through christmas decorations. I wonder if a 9 foot tree is too tall in my apartment...

Maybe they'll both go bankrupt as a result and the world will be a better place.

Currently shopping for a tree myself...amazon has a 50% off sale on them as we speak...getting a bethlehem lights color pre-lit tree for $250...it is only 7.5 feet tall, but, the room it is going in is only 9.5 feet tall so a 9 footer won't fit in there with a topper.

Now, the christmas village is going to be the interesting thing...moved my computer out so we could use the entire room this year...hopefully it all fits (room is about 15' x 30' btw)

And you have fun vacuuming and watering that tree, I'll stick with the pre-lit fake tree and my 5 minute set-up/take-down time.

A 12 foot tree would take my whole living room...

real trees are all sticky and messy and they are a fire hazard much more than the fake ones

someone should go back and forth between each for something and see who cracks first and then advertise it on the Today show.

Well, thats because you picked the wrong tree. Its all a matter of patience and examination. Never had spiders (this is why you cut live ones instead of buying them from Home Depot) and never had one die early, in fact, we have had some that lasted from thanksgiving well into the new year. Clean up is never a huge issue as long as you prepare for it. Its all a matter of knowing what to look for. To me, all the prep work, searching, and clean up is half the fun. I'll post some pics up of our tree when we get it.

I do agree with you somewhat. I love the snow. But, I don't love having to deal with it. If I could get a good couple feet of snow on Christmas day, and thats it, then I really would be happy.

When I lived in MI last year, I didn't have my jeep, I had the small *** reno. I am sure it would have been a lot better if I would have had my jeep then. I am thinking about going up this winter, and I will be taking the jeep this time.

Why would you want to drive on the freeway with 90 mph winds blasting your skull? Just roll up the windows.

I feel retarded riding around with the windows up while the top is down.... especially if they are tinted. I can see some cases where you would want to do it (the woman makes you roll them up so her hair isnt messed up as much) if you get a wind screen it drops the air you feel by 70% but you have to do a light bar as well to get one that looks decent and im not sold on a light bar at all.

Cause I bought it to put the top down...and I shaved my head so I didn't have to worry about my hair getting fubared...and the wind with the windows up is not bad at all...hell, I can wear a hat and it not fly off.

Windows are never up with my top down...if/when the women's tell me to roll them up, they have a choice...leave them down or walk.

I tell everyone riding with me, the top is going down...deal with it....just like tonight...58* out right now...top was down all the way home.
