| New Transformers Movie
i ****ed up and hit the enter key, screwed up the title, oh well
I saw a poster for this the other day. Transformers Movie - Official Site of Transformers: The Movie
most of it is very secretive from the studio. What my buddy and I have found so far is that it is an live action adaption of the 1986 movie. And the guy that did the voice then for Optimus will also do it for this movie. I cant wait, 7/4/07, ill be there opening night

Yeah, I have been hearing about this for a while. It will be interesting to see if its any good or just a CGI masturbation movie. I will be very excited and happy if its good, I love the transformers.

how is it more realistic for intelligent robots to come from mars, rather than a planet millions of light years away?
not to mention that that alteration changes the entire original story arc

Because then they didn't come from a planet millions of light years away. Which would mean that supposing they were travelling less than the speed of light, would mean they travelled millions of years... just to get to Earth. What a ****ty place to travel millions of years for.
Plus I don't know how reliable those robots are, but they better be running 5.0Ls if they expect to make a million year trip running non-stop.

They did change it to mars. In the preview, it shows a mars rover landing on mars...starting to film when suddenly something smashes it and that motivates them to come to earth.
There have been pictures of the cars from the movie floating around for months. The police car with the decepticon logo is great. The ghey part is the fact that bumble bee starts off as a beat up ass 70s camaro and gets fixed to suddenly become one of the brand new concept camaros.
None the less, I will prolly go see this when it comes out only because I was all into transformers when I was a kid. Will be interesting to see. Still wondering if I am going to go see the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when it comes out too...it looks ****ty though because the turtles are CGI and not real like the first 3 movies.

from what we can tell the teaser trailer has nothing to do with the actual movie. that sequence isnt even in it. Dreamworks and Speildberg I keeping it very secrative.
here are two vids i can find so far Transformers Test Clip - Google Video
this one we found on some transformer site..suppose to be optimus, though optimus was red transformers - Google Video
they had to do some redesigning from what ive read, cause when the they transformed parts would just disappear in early computer models of them.
and the title was suppose to be, my age and a bit older should enjoy this, but this will work

umm, i dont think the plot has anything to do with mars. as far as ive heard, the whole mars teaser is just that, a teaser. it has the equavilent of the aliens flying past the moon in "Independence Day", as in, they didnt come from the moon, thats just where we first picked them up on our surveillence systems.
