How do I say this. Well, my car is going to get sold. About 2 weeks ago I got into an accident driving on a curvy road and trying to rile up a buddy of mine.
We were doing about 40 and I came down a hill, there is this 170 degree right hand turn coming up that I love to punch it around and get a lil back end kickout action going. Well, truth be told, I punched it a little too hard and when the car downshifted and started to slide I wasn't at the right point in the turn.
I basically oversteered, corrected but was now going towards a rock wall so I recorrect to the right again. Old mr guardrail greets me and my car at a slow 20 mph and I crumble the right fender, smash up my light, scuff the bumper and shatter my headlight panel.
Now I dont remember if I posted on here about my Carbon Fiber hood flying up and smashing my windshield/denting my roof but that happened like 4 months ago.
So now I have a primer gray FR fender, dented roof that apparently must be completely replaced with a new skin, and a brand new windshield...My car looks uber-ghetto.
The body shop where I had it repainted in 2003 wants 1100 bucks to fix everything and repaint about half the car, hoping it will match and not need the whole car painted.
So my question for everyone is, what should I do? I found a few really nice 5.0 Fox's I want for like 5 grand. I'm typing in circles though. Please give me some input on this situation, I dont know what to do. I love my car but 1100 bucks is a lot considering I have no job and college has put me in debt up to my eyeballs....
Thanks for your input....
