Talking So I might have a mustang sooner then I thought

Been talking to my fiancee about the car we are planning on getting in the spring when we trade the reno/ranger in. There is a good chance it might be a 07 mustang. Downside is it would be v6 and auto, but i'll just be happy to have anything one.

Goal is to get rid of the POS reno and to get rid of the truck and have one vehicle we are paying for and split the car payment so we can still have atleast 1 nice car with a warranty.

Re: So I might have a mustang sooner then I though

Ok, I am going to offer a little advice here, as a friend...

Keep the reno. You have a truck (exploder) sell yours, pay it off. Split they payments on the reno. Its is a cheap car, good on gas, a great warranty, and all around a decent comuter car, which, I imagine, is what it is being used for. IMO there is no reason to move to a more expensive newer car, when you have a very nice one in the first place. Economically speaking, keeping the reno and the exploder is a good choice. Pay off the Reno, it will take half if not less as long as a new 07 mustang will. Then, when it is paid off, perhaps think about another car (but pay cash).

Just my well thought out 2 cents.

We are NOT keeping the reno. We have had nothing but problems with it since day 1. We have almost gotten to the point of using the lemon law on it and I will not buy another suzuki. Going back to a ford which is what we should have got in the first place. The only thing that might keep us from going ford is if my fiancees dad will help us with his GM discount.

Must have gotten a lemon then, because ours has been nothing but good for us. What all is wrong with it?

Yeah id stay away from Suzuki, unless were talking about 'Busas. Any new car under the $15k range usually gives "Get what you pay for" phrase a reason to get used.

Make sure to get a dam good price on a frigging slo-matic v6, theres a guy here on a local board that just bought a premium black 06 GT 5spd for a little over 20k, IN CALIFORNIA!

We own 2 suzuki cars and there really is nothing wrong with them. For what they are, they are good.
