I called the other day and ordered a PCV valve for my car since autozone and the like dont carry them and their part number is not available in the books WTF..
Ford got mine in (8 bucks...) and I took it home to install ITS NOT THE RIGHT ONE BY A LONG SHOT... I asked at least 4 times to make SURE it was for my car... dear lord its sad, I have to make yet another trip to take it back and order another one now...

I had the same experience with autozone a couple weeks ago when I swapped pullies. I called them to see if they had a 75.5" belt. I asked 6 times if he was sure it was the 75.5" serp belt. he said yes. Got annoyed with me actually because I kept asking. I drive over there...all they have is the 75.1" belt. I even gave them the part number on the phone and they said yes 6 times. I get there, not only is it not in their store, it isn't in any store in town and must be ordered.
Gotta love when they hire the handicapped.

I had the same problem with my 02, mine didn't have a typical PCV setup, it was more like a hole.. if that makes sense... was just an orifice, if you can get your old one out and get a part #, ford will be able to get the right part for you?

I've found that the parts departments between dealerships can vary wildly. When I used to live in Decatur, I'd drive right past the Chevrolet dealership on my way out to Hartselle, 'cause the parts department at Ambercrombie Chevrolet was so much better than Lynn Layton's.
