Re: The NBA Shines

I like College hoops (woot go UCONN) and soccer only time i watch that sport is the world cup

so with that said

Soccer > Hockey

every sport owns hockey well maybe not golf/tennis cause there about the same in excitement level

Re: The NBA Shines

I guess I am a minority so I will not argue my point any longer because its a dumb thing to argue about. I love watching hockey, soccer, tennis, college football, and maybe NFL. Baseball if I am bored enough, golf is ok. I do not like NBA, only watch college hoops some in the playoffs, and really dislike cricket cause I cannot figure that damn game out. Rugby is fun to watch, as is curling, which I am sure I am also in a minority with that as well.

The Devils have come through a lot more for me than the Rockets. Plus it takes more talent, IMO, to play hockey. If you disagree, try firing a puck into a net with a stick on ice. It is harder than it looks. I'm 5'6" and even I can play basketball. 2:

Re: The NBA Shines

anybody can play basketball hell even my big *** can play it but the real question is how good am i oh far from the best. and thats where it ends their getting paid cause there good at what they do (same can be said for hockey players too) so that is a weak *** arguement sorry.

hell my *** cant even skate on the ice so whatever floats there boat i got 2 close buddies of mine that play hockey in the minor league team here. more power to them still doesnt mean i like the sport which is pretty much what people are trying to get across that alot of dont like hockey and the one or two of u do like hockey.

plain and simple so thats that

Re: The NBA Shines

then we agree to disagree. it comes down to personal preference.

BTW, i play golf. i suck at it, but i play. and i do agree, it sucks to watch it on tv. it's like watching paint dry.

Re: The NBA Shines

I've never played Golf, but I use to go pretty often and smoke blunts and drive my homeboy around in the Golfcart while he played. Golf courses are a great place to smoke when your still living with your parents. :smoke:

I use to have the rollerblades and a hockey stick thing, and I always enjoyed Basketball much more.

And still managed to be the greatest hockey player of all time (in many people's minds).

So what now, may I ask, does that say about hockey?

Re: The NBA Shines

Most true hockey fans recognize that he was a great player, and that his numbers top most everyone else's, however, they still know he was a whiny, ***** ***, puck hogging show boat.

Its the casual and not so much fans of hockey that think gretzky is the end all of hockey players.

GOLDBERG!!!

mario lemieux, he is definately a great player. My fave is Steve Yzerman, it helps that I am a wings fan, but he was with the wings since he was 19, became the youngest, and longest serving captain for one team in the NHL. He was a real team player. I wish he was still playing.
