a S&W 9mm M&P pistol.

Here it is along with some of my other guns

I put 200 rounds through it on sunday and I love this thing! I was easily hitting a 4" target at 20-25 yards and I'm not that good of a shot.

that is a nice little collection you got there. be fun to go to the range with you since I have my M-4 and Beretta Cougar .40

Definitely. My sigma is .40 as well. I will probably get a .40 and .45 version of the M&P eventually. maybe another 9mm in the compact size.

First I'll get a remington 700 so I can do some hunting up in the black hills though

ive been thinking of a 30-06 myself. havent decided on what one. just been thinking of going that size. Would like to get a rifle to hunt with. Id like to go hunting period. never acutally been.

That's what I'm planning to get, a nice all around caliber. I can load it a bit lighter for deer, and make some hotter loads for larger game.

You should try hunting, it's a very good time

I mostly pheasant hunt here in the midwest

all my family up in NW OK deer hunt for the most part. However myself always lived in larger cities and though my parents dont have a problem with weapons (own a rifle and a pistol themselves) they never encouraged me to hunt. They knew my day would come to play with a rifle when I joined the military (dad just retired from army 2 years ago)

My only problem is, the main group of friends I hang out with dont hunt. I know a couple guys from work that do, I have told them, yeah id like to hunt sometime, never hunted though....but they haven't asked me to go so oh well. ill get me a rifle for that purpose and take it with my home and talk some family into taking me.
