hmm.. what to do

advice please.. i got two twelve inch subs for christmas from my parents.. yay for me.. but the only down side is that i have to buy the rest of the stuff to complete the system.. which if i am payin im gonna go ahead and replace the speakers in my car, get a new cd player, get the amp, wiring harness, and then labor.. but my question is.. should i save up the money and buy everything together or should i save and buy each thing one buy one and then take it all to get installed at one time.. ive already asked a few people and have gotten varied answers.. i have a problem with keeping a lot of money without spending it..

The way I did it was getting everything at once. But I just saved up and did it that way. No sense in getting piece by piece and not knowing what it'll end up sounding like.

Get everything at once. Or you could buy piece by piece the equipment you need, then have it all installed at once.

This way you won't have this massive purchase...

Re: hmm.. what to do

save up and do it all at once, thats what i would do, but if you HAVE to not at LEAST get your cd player in and i would go to a smaller "mom and pop" type shop they tend to not arse rape you as much as best buy or circuit city

Re: hmm.. what to do

you wont get a deal on buying in bulk most always so it wont matter as long as you get it installed all at once, you might can get a deal on installation.

Re: hmm.. what to do

If you'll buy the stuff from Hoopers they will install it for 1 dollar, and the installers there are very knowledgeable about the products and installation. I've bought several components from them.
I've also bought a CD player from Audio Advantage, the owner there really knows what he's doing. However, I've never had any experience with the installers at Audio Advantage, so I dunno what to tell you.

I'll install the stuff for you for a small fee as well, if that will work better. We can talk prices after you get all the components and I'll help you pick out something that will go well together.
