11-2 USC better than 13-0 Boise State According to AP

Even though both USC loses came to unranked teams and Boise State beat an Oklahoma team that was jipped a win from Oregon St and who should have been 12-2. Also, somehow USC is better than a 1 loss Louisville and Wisconsin. (Wisconsin's only loss came to Michigan.)

USC is ESPN's team so it is the team of choice. they would have been ranked 1 under the old way if it was still around. but if you want to get technical, why is LSU ranked above Boise St? and can't claim strength of schedule. that got thrown out when USC got ranked higher.

I personally think LSU and USC (as I much as I hate them) would both beat the living **** out of Boise State. Boise State beat Oklahoma, not the Colts. It was a good game and exciting to watch, so everyone is putting them on more of a pedastool than I think they deserve.

They gave up 42 points to Oklahoma. Do you really think they'd be able to do that to a team like LSU and still win?

I didn't think so.

And don't give me the whole, but "they're undefeated" thing. Have you looked at their schedule???

08/31 Sac St W 45-0
09/07 Oregon St W 42-14
09/16 at Wyoming W 17-10
09/23 Hawaii W 41-34
09/30 at Utah W 36-3
10/07 La Tech W 55-14
10/15 at New Mexico St W 40-28
10/21 at Idaho W 42-26
11/01 Fresno St W 45-21
11/11 at San Jose St W 23-20
11/18 Utah St W 49-10
11/25 at Nevada W 38-7
01/01 vs #11 Oklahoma W 43-42

Those are some real power houses right there guys... They even managed to beat San Jose State by an entire field goal.

I'm not saying anything like that. What I am saying is USC doesn't deserve to be ahead of them. LSU I can see that. They lost to two very good teams and then kicked the living hell out of Notre Dame.

What did USC do?

Boise State could have very well stuck with USC. Just like UCLA did. Or Oregon. USC's defense sucks. While Boise State gave up that many points it was to a stout Oklahoma offense with Peterson.

I'm not saying they would have but they could have and they never got the change to prove it.

Such bull crap. I don't care what Boise's schedule is, USC lost to 2 UNRANKED teams! Hell, Auburn only lost to 1 unranked team and handed the NC's their only loss, and look where they are! We also beat LSU, who is up there high too. I'm not upset with LSU being ranked high tho, its about time the SEC got some love, but I just don't think USC deserves to be up there at all.

I definitely agree that Auburn should have been a little higher. Auburn had a couple bad games (ok... really bad), but when they were on top of their game... they were unstoppable.

Hell, they beat Florida and LSU both. That has to count for something.
