Last one for a little while...

So I went and bought myself a 30-06 Remington model 710 this week!

I think I'll take it easy on buying guns for a while as I have bought 2 pistols, an AR-15, and the Model 710 in less then a year!

It makes for the start of a nice little armory

Re: Last one for a little while...

You'd get along good with my buddy Newman. At the peak of his arsenal, he had three AK-47s, a pair of SKSes, a 30-06 (those things kick like a muther****er), and an assortment of handguns. He's trimmed back a good bit, now. I believe that he's down to an AR-15, the 30-06, and two .45's.

Re: Last one for a little while...

both are S&W

sigma .40 cal (great ergonomics, cheap, but it goes bang every time)

M&P 9mm (more refined, great ergonomics, pretty accurate)

Re: Last one for a little while...

the sigma is a good gun but a bit rough around the edges. If you are use to a double action revolver then it will be fine for you. otherwise, the trigger pull is pretty heavy and long. I'd look at the M&P instead of the sigma.

I'd sell the sigma, but I'm keeping it because it is a good trainer. If you can shoot a sigma well, then you can shoot just about any gun well!

Re: Last one for a little while...

I also forgot that i want 1911 as well. Those M&Ps look pretty nice. God I want a gun lol. Damn my dad and his rules. Its funny, because its not like he doesn;t like guns, its just that he doesn't want them in the house. I suppose it makes sense tho, considering having a brother like I do.

One of the best factory rifles out there for a decent price.

Damn Right!

BTW nice guns, I like them both. I'm thinking about getting a 1911, probably a Springfield.

Re: Last one for a little while...

good little collection you got going. I want to get a nice 30-06 rifle or something. I would really love to get a Springfield M1903-A3 though. That would be awesome.
