Today is not a day for mustangs....

Well along with the day being hell starting at 5am and ending at 7pm I was really happy when I got home. I had just ordered a new antenna online since my last one got bent about 35degrees because of a big chunk of shredded tire hitting it and the front fender and b pillar, so I was gearing up to get it on. Went out and had a hell of a time getting the old one off and then put the new one together and started to screw it on. I should have thought better but it was a little harder to get it on but then it started going on great and then snap! The screw part that screws into the antenna and the car snapped in half. So now I have to get a new piece for the car, the antenna thing on the fender, and another new antenna. Grrr!!! So I called my bud Trevor to tell him since I knew he would get a good laugh out of it and I find out that his beautiful 97 cobra got t-boned by some kid who ran the red light in a new honda his parents bought for him yapping on his cellpone going like 40mph. Hit him on the driver's side right where the door and the fender meet. He's ok just a bit banged up but his car had a lot of sweet stuff done to the outside and a lot of motorwork done so it really sucks since he was almost done paying for it and would have owned it. Well he's gonna take it to a mustang shop to see if he can get the most he can for it so that he could fix it and get the paint job he wants and anything else he can, supercharger mabe, and I guess I'm off to Ford to get the part I need that will probably cost like 60 bucks and a fourth new antenna to replace the stock one, the one that was stolen, the bent one, and the one with the broken piece. Maybe I should just shave it off....hope nobody else had a bad day with thier stangs.
