Yay or Nay

Ok, yay or nay? I am going to color my engine bay up a little to make it more show carish. I was thinking redfire valve covers, but upon seeing some pics of bays with color matched covers, it becomes too much color.

So, I found these pics...and am thinking of doing the same thing as I will have a similar CAI kit, just about 1' short colored pipe.

So, here we go. Everything yellow will be redfire...with the addition of my pullies being redfire as well. Everything black will look like the black SC i post up (last attached pic).

Go with the black covers with redfire accents? Yay or Nay?

Oh, and here is the CAI I will have for reference...

Re: Yay or Nay

Since there have been a couple "redfire valve covers" posts...here is that concept only in blue...seems like too much of the same color in there with the blue strut towers, blue intake pipe (which happens to be the same CAI I am getting), and the blue covers.

Have you lifted the SC with intercooler attached? That mo fo is heave as hell...

I can see why they did...to hold the SC where it needs to be while they make some needed connections before they bolt it down...instead of someone trying to hold it up stretched out over the front of the car...plus, gives you 4 hands instead of 2...and lots of free space as there aren't extra arms in the way.

Re: Yay or Nay

Oh yeah, and it will have these valve covers...with accented letters...the letters will be the same color as the valve covers...the coil covers will be the opposite color of the valve covers...

EXACTLY... makes life easier, lightning's are even worse personally... I didn't want anything to stand out on mine so I painted it silver... after 8k miles without cleaning its the same color as the engine block/accessory mounts...
