Re: Sold QQ

Yup. You probably should. Especially of how reliable those TCs are.

Question, if I buy one from Sears, do I get the lifetime warranty? Or is that only on the Murrays?

And what, may I ponder, makes the Scion tC the most technologically advanced piece of machinery to grace modern mankind?

Re: Sold QQ

good game america...

lets produce something that actually can compete with the japanese market then maybe ford wouldn't lose a mustang a minute... and its projected to go up.

if im not mistaken, toyota had a big help to GM a while back to...

tsk tsk, to only think that toyota could also go through and pay cash and buy out all the motor companies. i mean... thats why their vehicles are HORRIBLE... i mean idiots must buy them cuz they are so unreliable ya know?

never said that... you paid "26k" which i call bs after TTL (unless you knew a dealer and got dealer discount), but i guarantee you that my tC has a lot more features than the sappy bulky looking new edge gts...yet another reason iw oudln't buy one.... 05+ is ugly imo.

Question to you....
Why the hell would any company, cars or not, stop making something if it is making them more money and selling more of them than any other product on the market, foreign or domestic. If this is true, the guys at Toyota need to be shot in the head and quadruple production of what must be the most amazing car since the model t was introduced by......Ford.....

Re: Sold QQ

Also, in what parallel universe are you comparing the Mustang GT to the Scion tC. The only similarities I see between the two are an engine, 4 wheels, and one acts like it is supposed to be a car when it is in actuality a lawn mower. The other (mustang in case you didn't catch that) has 300 horsepower and would walk your tC even after you drop another 5 grand in the engine with dealer bolt-on power.

What "features" does Toyota have that my car doesn't.

Name one.

Is it the enormous 10.8" front calipers? The udderly amazing "outside temperature gauge"? The rear window defogger (yeah, I gots dat on my car)?

Or did it also come with a 6 disc CD/MP3 player with a 1000 watt Shaker 1000 system, leather seats, 18" wheels, active anti-theft system with motion sensor, traction control, and a 300hp / 315 ft/lb trq 4.6L 3V V8???

Not to mention the "My Color" dash, cause that ****'s just pimp.

And I have 500 bucks that said I can walk up to the dealership here in town and buy an 07 GT, premium, 5 speed, leather, shaker system for under 30k. I'm willing to bet I could leave the dealership with it for under 28k.

Apparently you're a little behind when it comes to business principles. The point of making a product is to be the only one surviving. You want to beat out all of your competition so there is no other options, therefore you can raise your price and make more money off the poor saps buying a thing like a tC and make even more money.

I'm talking 28 tax/title/license. Out the door with keys and title in hand.

Can you read? I didn't say anything about air bag sensors.

It's a ****ing anti theft sensor. It's a motion sensor that goes off when anyone is ****ing with your car and the alarm is set.

Then what was the point in saying you can't find a GT like that for under 30k??

I still have yet to understand why you are comparing a 4 cylinder family car to a mustang...

Re: Sold QQ

im saying the gt... options wise... is not going to compare to what is standard in the tC.... especially when you compare the prices... ask ford to do the addons that are standard on a tC and im sure that price'll be slightly higher.

and why rip on a 4cyl family car then.... maybe im outgrowing my sports car fettish then and enjoying my tC, family car with its little camery engine.

Re: Sold QQ

You're not understanding what I'm saying.

You keep comparing your car to the GT. Compare the car to the V6 mustang in price. They're about the same price and power....eventhough rwd still wins.

Re: Sold QQ

He's just trying to compare it to the GT because I'm arguing with him about it. I find it quite amusing.

I still don't get the options argument though. I'm looking at the standard options for the Scions right now. The only thing I see that the Mustang doesn't have are "driver knee airbags", "tire pressuring monitor system" (for those too stupid/lazy to use a tire guage every once in a while) and the ever important "first aid kit".

Feel safe knowing that if you are ever driving your Scion and manage to get a paper cut, you will always have bandaids at hand.
