Re: Sold QQ

And I'm not trying to prove that Malibu's are slow. I'm trying to prove that a Scion tC is a pretty ****ty thing to trade a Mustang in on.

I take that back, I'm really just ****ing with a couple of idiots on the internet because I worked all day and night and am trying to relax a little before I get in bed.

I agree. That's a ***** way of doing things too. Boost is easy. Building a naturally aspirated motor that will hang with/beat all the boosted idiots is much more fun.

H-beam connection rods, the block was sleeved with Eagle sleeves. me dropping compression ratio in a 350 should give you the rest of the modifications that were done... or soon to be done with any low compression motor....
Ok, so you're daddy paid for it. Must be nice. My dad bought me an '88 Escort once. It ran 9's.

... let me guess.... it's 8:1.... you... must... have.... a digital oil pressure guage... in it....

So, is it like all the other old Chevy's at the track that have a hard time dipping into the 8s in the 1/8th with their blower and 350?

With the way the car industry has advanced in the last 5 or 6 years, it takes some serious schooling and tuning to be able to work on a boosted car that is a late model.
Really? Well, aren't you just a ****ing genious. I know exactly what goes into building a boosted motor: money. The same thing that goes into building any kind of motor.

Sure, it takes a little know-how to properly build a motor. But guess what? It's not ****ing rocket science.

If you want to insult my intelligence, feel free. I have a rather large ego and could probably use being brought down a couple notches.

Hey Cajun. Do you like popcorn? I LOVE popcorn. If you like popcorn, when Brent and I make the trip down there, I will bring some, and we can ride around all day and share bags of popcorn and become best friends. It will be awesome.

If you truly knew and have spent the time working on a boosted motor you would know that it is nowhere near easy to build one idc how much money you have, no matter how much money is exchanged it will never lower to the skill and know-how it takes make a truly out-performing boosted motor run properly on the right configuration.
So you are saying that you know how to properly dyno tune a boosted car yourself?

Tell, me then all-knowing god of the boosted motor, I'm considering putting a blower on the 90 eventually, somewhere around 12 psi from a Vortech S-trim or equivalent. Either on a 347 stroker, or perhaps a 351, not entirely decided yet. Really depends on whether or not I can find a roller 351. So how much overlap is going to be too much for the cam? Do you think I should go with H-beam or I-beam rods?

I want something that will build boost fairly quickly and top out around 6200 RPMs, do you think I should go with something positive displacement instead? Perhaps a Lysholm?

what you need is an xyz389435bs 4 popper with a hybrid gt954/rk3309 turbo system. Just watch the manifold and your floor boards or me and the mad scientist will have to rip apart the engine and replace the piston rings you just fried.

Re: Sold QQ

I would just like to say something. I joined this site never owning a mustang. Sure, I like em, but not as much as a lot of the guys here. My passion is jeeps and trucks, 4x4s, ect. I talk some **** about mustangs on here sometimes and get flamed to hell, and so does my jeep, I think "lesbo jeep" is the popular term. I laugh so hard when I see that. Then I say my jeep can beat a mustang. And they flame me some more and tell me that the mustang will win. You know why? Because my jeep is not built for going fast, not like a mustang. In the same way, the scion was not built for going fast, not like a mustang. That is it right there. End of story. NOW, scion fanboys, we are on a mustang site. You will lose this argument every day, just like I lose every time, and the guys on this site actually like me! The best thing for you to do is just stop. Really. Its for the best. YOU WILL NOT CONVINCE ANYONE OF ANYTHING. You already lost. Go home.

BTW, Cajun, you never answered my offer on the popcorn.

MMM i love popcorn
