my dad makes a **** load, but i've paid evertytrhing myself. (mostly)
He bought my my first car. And he's paid like my first semester of college when things werent "as" good as they are for me now.

He's some head at lucent technologies, in the tech support department.
I wish i could be like him. He makes over 100k.
He survived a **** load of layoff's that they had last year (thank god)

My mom's poor tho. My rents are divorced and she remarried to some highschool teacher. They live in some small wierner of a house. While the family and I live in my dads big *** house.

my dad works up at Ford in Cleveland, he makes a but load but half of it goes to taxes, part of life. Mom works at a place that functions through State grants, so sometimes she can go a few months without ever seeing a pay day. We aren't loaded but we aren't poor either. Dad said he would pay for my car [not the mods] as long as i stay in sports and don't get in trouble [alky, pot, speeding tickets...] So its a system that keeps me in check i guess you could say. But i still have a job and work, pay for my gas and what little things i want. But no, we aren't rich.

Even though I have not lived with my parents in 25 years. They both are quite well off. They are divorced but my mom inherited a boat load from her mom and is a real state agent. My dad owned a chain of Medical supply businesses and a dredging buisness and a Glass doctor and a long distance company now called LDDS. But I have been on my own for years but I did get a ford pinto in 1976 from him as well as a 1979 International Scout SS (The original hardcore SUV) He paid for my college the first time.

Corey, not to be mean of OT, but how old are you? I always thought you were like 25. Not by your posts, just thought that.

Man I have gone back to school a few times to get ahead in life. But that is what I had to do to get where I am today as Aerospace Quality Engineer/Analyst.

No Lockheed pays for my schooling. I use to build hardcore Camaro's and just got to the point that they started to look like roaches. I always liked the new stang body style when they came out in 94 and I went by a Ford dealership one day and saw my laser red (my fabvorite color ) out on the lot with "Great Deal" on the windshield and walked in a nd took it for a spin and got it for a steal with cash. I decided then I would mod it to run with the V8 cars.

So in other words I like the Car

i was just joking. i was assuming that you wanted to mod it to run with v8s anyways. So... is it safe to assume that a super charger is in the plans? or a turbo setup?

My parents are well off, well, they were before the stock market crash where they lost over a 1/4 mil, half of their life savings supposedly. They went half and half with the Mustang and are still managing to pay my college.

My stepdad has been in Education for over 35 years. He is currently teaching 3rd grade for another year or so, then he will move into Administration again just before retirement so he gets the extra $$.

My mother, used to work at a crafts store. Just for cash on the side. she had her own staind glass company, until she ran out of room to work.

My parents spent 10 years designing their now 3,400 sq/ft home and 1972 sp/ft garage on 2.98 Acres of property overlooking Lake Mathews California. My stepdad has the 02 GT Vert, 2 '53 Studebakers, a 73 Dodge Challenger with 61,000 original miles, a 77 Dodge Magnum, a tractor, utility trailer, camping trailer, 21' Eliminator ski boat. My mom has a 93 AWD caravan, and an 03 PT Cruiser. I have a 66 Mustang, a 74 Dodge Challenger (doesn't run), and my 98 V6.

I paid for all of my cars, or am still paying my dad back for them.

So we're not rich... but we're doing alright.

my dad makes approx 55k a year as a general manager of an international sign company.. yeah.. he is getting ripped of with that pay.. he should be making much much more. as for my mom.. she is the manager of a bank and makes somewhere around 20k a year. my parents have high positions at their work place.. unfortunately their work places suck...
