Bought a new car

Picked it up last night. Not a Mustang though although mine will remain my daily driver until I can sell it. It's a bright red '99 SS. Gotta fight with my brother and his 02 WS6 for the garage now. Here's the only pic I have of it so far.

I'm still a Ford freak, it's just the ttops and LS1 kinda drew me in. I test drove an 03 GT and was actually ready to sign on it when I found this car through a private seller.

nice car. love t-tops, love the engine, hate the body style. I would let your brother have the garage, i like trans-am WS6's body style a lot more .

NC Hiway Patrol uses Camaro SS for Pursuit Cars, too bad they won't be able to replace them when these wear out, hahahaharhar.

that is easily one of the nicest cars ever produced. that is the nicest production car sold by an american company other than the vette.

thumbs waaaaay up and don't let any of these ford guys tell you differently.

you are correct, kind of, i wasn't thinking past tense so much. i don't talk too much about older cars because most people on these boards have newer cars and it isn't even worth going down that road.

i have no allegiance to chevy, though i was born and raised chevy and have owned a couple nice chevy muscle cars. nice cars are nice cars. to me it doesn't matter if it says ford or chevrolet on it.

that mustang in your sig is easily as nice as that ss, only different. i would not driving that mustang every day, but to have it sitting in my garage would be 8)

i know what 40 years can do to a car, but that is still a nice ride. my original comment was geared towards "newer" cars. i have always had a eye out for cars from the 60's and early 70's. your car is nicer than most, because it has attitude. my 99 v6 screams
