I wait, I was wrong...he's a saint! Can you honestly in good faith say that he's been the epitamy of a great president? That he's governed this country to it's full potential, and that he's did the best job he could capably do under the circumstances? I think not.

Re: More crap from the Bush administration:

my view on bush is as follows:

theres been worse and theres definitely been better. he isn't as bad or stupid as the world makes him out to be though.

i honestly look forward to who is going to step up to the plate next. they can potentially be an amazing president or a really, really horrible president depending on their solutions and outcomes.

There ahve been several things I think he could have done better. I am in no way completely satisfied with him. I do know this: He is 100% better than Al Gore and John Kerry. The economy is good, employement is up, the stock market has been seeing record closing after record closing, we haven't another successful terrorist attack on our country since 911. I had hoped he would live up to be a new Ronald Reagan, but I was wrong. He is inferior to Reagan, but he's doing better than you or I could have done and especially better than the people who ran against him.

I do. no other president has dealt with the many things he is dealing with. Name any other president that could have dealt with these situations better (without bringing up dead presidents past, we would all love to have the leaders from WWII now, leaders that can lead). ****, you think its bad now, imagine if Kerry was in office, NOTHING would ever get done because he would be so worried about his approval ratings and not stepping on toes. God Forbid ****ing Gore won, we would have just acted like nothing happened on 9/11, crawled back inside and cowered in fear in the face of our opposition as the world crumbled around us. plus by now we would all be driving Plain White toyota Prius' because those are so uber clean for teh environment and any other color is a distraction, oh and they would cost 100k to boot, and only last 50k miles then you had to buy another one.

God forbid we have a president that can think for himself i love when people base their opinion on him just cause he isnt very articulate in how he speaks, a feature he even pokes fun of at himself, when hes probably got better credentials than most other presidents before him. One of the greatest presidents? No. one of the better ones? yes, especially when you factor in whats going on around him. i fear what will happen in 08 when we get a president who cant think for **** and turns this country upside down. actually, i take that back, this country could use a good Revolution to get things back on track, maybe bring about the country our fore-fathers strived so hard to create, a country thats been buried under political power struggles and propaganda, leaders who cant lead and followers who have no power to do anything but follow.

This is something else that aggravates me(side rant). Does anyone read the Bible any more??????? Anyone who thinks we are in the "end times" and blah blah needs to go take a peak at Revelation. The Rapture happens first(you know the part where all the Christians disappear), THEN a 3 years or so go by, THEN the horsemen start in on the world.

Oh and as far as ACT/SAT scores go, I'd go so far as to say as the smartest people in the world have hardly any common sense since the genius's of the world today logic differs far from a normal mind. Hell, I'd say more autistic people could make a perfect "test" score than could a normal functioning mind. Just cause you get a number from some prefabbed questionaire, doesn't make you able to rule/run a country(aimed at no specific president/dicator/etc.).

i agree that that score doesn't mean jack with regard to common sense and ability to run a country. That was not the point. The point is, he's not a dumbass like some people seem to think he is just b/c he's not a smooth talker all the time

lol, I know you said this is a side rant, but this is REALLY off to the side. Religion is a whole 'nother "battelfield" on this forum lol!

But it sounds like you have a lot of the same "doctrine" that I do just from what you said, and you do realize I was not being literal on her thinking he was a horseman. I was only using that to illustrate how people are looking at him in relation.

Re: More crap from the Bush administration:

Kyle, I see what you were saying.

Dark, yeah, I know, I have a ADHD attack every now and then--yes I'm literally ADHD, but I refuse to take ritalin which is a distant cousin to methamphetimine, i.e. cocaine. I literally had to ween myself off of it, if not, I had migraines that made me stay in for the night and severe gain in appetite(see what I mean about ADHD hahaha).

No joke about the 'whole nother battlefield.' Either way, I read yah loud and clear.
