Head of Navy defends captives:

Head of navy defends freed sailors | Special reports | Guardian Unlimited

What do you think of the conduct of the captured Brits? It blew me away to see them apologizing on TV and ****. If I were their commanding officer, I wouldn't be pleased. I'm not saying their weak, or anything, because I wasn't there. I don't know what they went through. But, still, I don't think they should have apologized or anything.

Re: Head of Navy defends captives:

never apologize for following orders. only apologize for getting caught. but not to the ragheads. to your own CO for ****ing up the mission. they should be discharged for actions unbecoming a soldier.

I'm not a target in the sights of your mercy. I've never asked for anything. I'm not asking now.

Re: Head of Navy defends captives:

Eh put yourself in their shoes

They were out numbered, out gunned when the dumbasses arrived, and were told they'd get 7 years in prison in IRAN or if they just say what the Iranian gov. wanted them to say they'd be off on their way home and then you could tell everyone the real bull****

I don't know about you, but spending 7 years in a **** hole country full of hate, you wouldn't last long there.

I understand why the did what they had to do, but did anyone hear about the one guy that they didn't show for the pictures and all? He was taken to a separate room and isolated.

eh, but if i knew my 7 year residence in a ****hole meant it would be nuked off the face of the earth, i might just vow to stay and take one for the team. if the sailors were not released, im pretty sure **** would go down. wouldnt take much even for the RAF to level iran back to the 17th century.
