Looked at Mustangs a few weeks ago

Well I came close to getting an 07 GT but the dealership really made me mad number one high pressure sales tactics and number two they climbed all over my truck while getting an apprasseal value that was of course two low and then they told me a set of tires cost 1700.00 fricking dollars for my truck I just laughted. Also looked at a 03 GT that seemed to lose alot of steam at about 110 or 115 but the car wasnt in the best of shape and needed to have a fitting or seal replaced on the a/c due to not so cold air the power steering pump had been replaced and the factory exhaust had small cuts to give it a more agressive sound I also think it has had some front end damage in the past. On those two here were my major points I like the lighter weight and body style of an 99 to 04 more but I have to lay the seat down father back than I like to so my head wont rub the headliner now the 05 to 07 has more room by far for my head but just doesnt seem to have the feel I like but I dont dislike it enought not to buy one I just need to find a good deal on a 04 or so GT before I buy a house or slightly after maybe well maybe slightly after cause I need to move out badly from where I live now.

I honestly believe that the last "sentence" is the largest amount of text I have ever seen without a period.

That said, find another dealership and get an '07. Totally different car from the 99-04, and in a good way.

Yeah, and the 99-04s feel like cement trucks.

^^ I think you mean concrete trucks, there is no such thing as a cement truck unless you mean bug 18 wheels that deliver cement to plants that make concrete.

You are correct neither handle very good they are modest and thats it so don't buy one if you want something that handles very good. You could pick up a mach 1 for cheaper and have a bit faster car than an 05+ or pick up a low milage terminator and have a faster car with tons of potential (for cheap) that handles a bit better than the GT you drove that defiantly wont fall flat on its face in the 100+'s

Re: Looked at Mustangs a few weeks ago

I REALLY hate to burst your bubble but you are dead wrong... once cement is mixed with water, sand, aggregate, constituents, etc (only takes water to create hydration) it is NO longer cement it is concrete as the chemical compound changes due to hydration. Call a concrete truck a cement truck at a batch plant and you will be laughed off of the property. Dont worry its a very common misconception that is made, its just a thing real concrete truck drivers and batch plants really hate to hear.

Cement trucks are trucks that carry cement to batch plants that then use it to make concrete to put into concrete trucks for delivery.

Re: Looked at Mustangs a few weeks ago

Either way, the truck is not actually made of cement or concrete. It is made out of steel and brawn. So we should call them steel and brawn trucks.

Re: Looked at Mustangs a few weeks ago

Well I dont think a Terminator will be in my price range but I will wait a bit longer for the resale to drop on an 04 and do the work for the handeling I strive for esspecially since I think I am going to drop my JDM project and just focus on Fords with V8's. As far as the speed issue it could be corrected I think with better gears, cai, programer and exhaust for better use of power and more power I figure with 80 to 100 more horses and the proper gearing the 05 to 07s wouldnt do so well and the lighter weight would help that as well.
