Re: Shootings at VA Tech

I think this guy took the game Hokie Pokie to far. At least he is dead and we dont have to worry about 2 years of press coverage and liberal court systems making him out to be a poor victim.

I feel for all the families who lost there children when all they were doing is furthering their educations and had their whole lives ahead of them.

What sucks is the knee jerk reaction is going to stiffen the gun regulations in Virginia that will do nothing to keep demented or sick people from going on killing spree's.

Re: Shootings at VA Tech

I cant believe the **** im hearing right now on foxnews.

they said teh first thing they will look for on this guys computer is the type of video games he has played and then talked about the other school shooting and how they suppusly trained these shooter games like GTA, Doom, makeshift mini games that are similiar to how Columbine, CounterStrike

are they ****ing stupid? is this like for real can a video game drive a person to do these like this?

I don't believe this for a second

++++ The kid was in COLLEGE, so wtf would it matter anyhow? the kid could be legally trained by the army to shoot ... To pull the trigger on a REAL PERSON requires something to be wrong with them, they didn't 'learn how to do it' from a video game.

********.

Re: Shootings at VA Tech

it is them trying to reason out the unreasonable. they want to find an excuse for the behavior if this jackass. instead of just admitting that this is a result of no one taking responsibility for their actions. when something gets ****ed up, hey lets blame everyone else instead of yourself. that is the world we unfortunately live in today. point the finger. blame someone else. Lord knows if it wasn't for that other person or thing, that ****nut would have never done something like that. maybe it's his parents fault, or some chick broke his heart. or maybe, just maybe, this dude was a homicidal dumb**** who couldn't be a man and handle his problems in any other way. i am so damn tired of people making excuses for some idiot that does this **** instead of just saying he was ****ing looney.

yeah like in columbine when they found out the shooters listened to Marilyn Manson so decided it was on him and banned him from the state

Im with you Stumpy they always right away to blame someone else instead of those who are really responsible, the parents.

Gotta member they dont know for sure if this guy actually went to that college at all. So far they are saying its not

Press conference will be in a half so maybe we'll know more then

i'm not even saying to blame the parents. i'm sure that if, in some cases, the parents were more involved in the kids life this wouldn't happen. but that's not always the case. no one wants to admit that the idiot may just be ****ed up period. that's my point. someone or something else is always to blame. it's pathetic.

Re: Shootings at VA Tech

as i said on the slashdot boards (not word for word), its not guns, video games, music, etc... the world loves to point fingers rather than accept responsibility for their own actions... in this case, the murderer(s) were obviously not mentally stable. Their actions are a result of that, not any factor in popular culture. it probably stems from a psychological problem of emotional trauma in their life.
