Future Modifications

Okay guys, I'm looking for some info for a new article and I need input from as many of you as possible.

Since the rerelease of the 5.0 in 2011 and the availability of stock options such as 3:73s and upgraded Brembo brakes...what would you, as the consumer, want to see in the future for factory available modification upgrades?

Turbo? Better exhaust? Suspension upgrades?

Thoughts? Opinions?

Also, what about cost, is adding all of these modifications with the click of a button costing too much or is it better to have it right from Ford than to add it yourself?

It's nice to get, but please do not finance these into the vehicle as you will begin upside down. I would do most of the install myself as I could find cheaper, better parts and install most everything myself.

Re: Future Modifications

as far as from ford the best we could hope for power adder wise would be a twin screw supercharger, we wont be getting a turbo... just wont happen

they should reach out to aftermarket items and allow buyers the ability to have intakes like JLT, shifters like MGW, springs from h&r and coil overs in the rear, extra bracing etc etc and a more advanced tune

Re: Future Modifications

full exhaust, supercharger....and thats all it needs haha. im sure once ford racing gets up to speed you may be able to wrap it all together. if you plan on keeping the car forever, go all out

I don't know. I am seeing a good bit of speculation and I think the idea of a 5.0 Eco Boost Twin Turbo setup isn't too far fetched. Turbos may be within our grasp.
