ME NEED LOTS OF HELP!!! everyone look!!!!

i have been offered an 89 GT 5.0 that runs high 12's/low 13's for $4000, it has these mods: stock 302 bottom end, Edlebrock Aluminuim heads, with pedestal mount cobra 1.7 roller rocker arms, Ford Motorsport E303 camshaft, Edlebrock Induction, performer intake, 75mm egr spacer and throttle body, Mac cold air induction in fender air filter, ProM 77mm mass air meter for, the FMS 24lbs. injectors, crane adjustable fuel pressure regulator, holley 155lph in tank fuel pump, MSD 6AL ignition box, it has stock cooling system which works too well in the winter, and seems to be sufficent for daily comutes back and forth from work. Exhaust includes hedman 1 5/8" unequal length headers to a MAC X-pipe, out to a Flowmaster 3 chamber LX polished tip 2 1/2" cat-back system.(sounds awesome), stock T-5, with PRO 5.0 short throw shifter, FMS Aluminum driveshaft, FMS 3.73 ring and pinion.

I would have to sell my car (the 64.5) to buy it, but if I talk the guy down and get the 89 for around $3500, I can probably have enough money for a 10 psi vortech supercharger and have an 11 second car. what should I do??? sometimes I want to buy it in a heartbeat and slap that SC on there and sometimes i cant even think about selling my car. damn, i'm confused, what do yall think?

the decision is more than classic or fox - its almost stock classic or possible 11 second fox. $4000 is a hell of a deal though, see there i go wanting to sell the classic.

Fox bodies are a dime a dozen. It's nice, though. Guess it depends on if you want speed... or girls without mullets.

classics like yours are hard to come by, you can fix up your classic to smoke that fox body as well

I personally love classics, they just aren't seen fixed up too much, where the fox bodies are EVERYWHERE running the engine hard.

IMO i wouldn't get a mustang ALREADY modified...what fun is that? it takes all the excitment of putting new mods and feelings gains on it. When someone asks you when did you put this or where did you get it...all you can say is ,"oh thats how i bought the car"....fix the classic or just keep it

I say keep the classic too. That car is sooooo sexy. And seriously, take your time and have fun with it, you could get it to smoke that thing in a couple of years. And seriously, in ten years, fox bodies are going to be even less desirable than they are now, that lovely little 64 and a half will be a golden piece of history.

I think the process is alot more important than the power. Admitedly I'm gonna sell my stang sometime next year and buy a gt, but my stang is nothing compared to that classic you have.

OK Jimmy It is about Classic or Fox body because any car can be made into a 11 sec car. I personally never liked the fox body cause it looked like a 2 door Fairmont just to much.

Keep the classic
