Anyone have a hard time getting up in the morning?

Meet Clocky..... nanda

If you hit snooze, Clocky will actually jump off your nightstand and find a place a random place to hide before going off again, forcing you to get out bed and track it down.

At which point, I will just roll over and go right back to sleep. I have 3 alarms go off in the morning, and I can't tell you when the last time I remember hearing it is.

My thoughts exactly !!!! If I don't wake up when Denise wakes me .She just sends in the dog, nothing like having a 75 lbs dog leaping on to the bed to wake ya up

Which would be followed by the sound of a 75 pound dog thumping on the floor/wall/dresser/whatever is in the way when he levitates out of bed.

One of my friends asked my wife if she woke up grouchy in the mornings. Her reply was, "No, I just let him sleep."

Thats what I am like. My body naturally wakes me up after I get 7 hours of sleep. Doesn't matter if I go to bed at 8pm or 4am, I get up 7 hours later.

Re: Anyone have a hard time getting up in the morning?

it depends for me.... I can either get 6 hours and be fine... or 10 hours and be exhausted... it just depends. It goes the other way too. Now, for tomorrow, I'll get about 7 hours, maybe... and I don't know if I'll be tired or not.

That's ok, I woke up this morning and started to get ready for work. Asked Tiff what exams she had today and she informed me it's Sunday...

Yeh..I'm a workaholic.

Re: Anyone have a hard time getting up in the morning?

i either have to sleep under 6 hours or over 9 hours to feel good in the morning. 7 or 8 hours will give me that "dam, i wish i could get more" so i wake up feeling sad/angry i cant sleep more. under 6 and its like "might as well get up, looks like you werent tired enough for more sleep or else you wouldve passed out earlier!" and anything over 10 im like in heaven the entire day. usually when i know i have to work the next day, i get insomnia and its hard for me to get to sleep knowing i have to work when i wake up. but on the weekends, no insomnia, i pass out the second i hit the pillow (whenever it is) and i usually like to get at least 9-10 hours of sleep to rejuvinate the mind and body after the week. however this weekend i didnt get to, was up at 8 sat and sunday. its going to be a long week. though times like this, i will usually come home and take a nap after work for like 1-2 hours to catch up for the weekend, or if i dont get enough sleep the night before, i come home and just lose all motivation and strength, especially if i have nothing to do, if i know when i get home i need to work on a car, laundry, clean, etc, then i will be fine.

Re: Anyone have a hard time getting up in the morning?

I don't even know what sleep is. I am lucky if I get 5 hours of sleep. Its ok, I seem to function well. Any more than 5 hours of sleep, I wake up groggy and I am tired the rest of the day.
