Does anyone remember the Yellow GT with Carbon Fiber hood...

and other accessories that Rob and I have talked about.

He posted about installing his cams here a few months back?

wait your telling me a GT cant handle 150 shot? wtf im honestly kinda shocked cause I was always running a 100 shot in the V6 and everyone always thought I was crazy and it wouldnt last

I crushed two pistons in my GT with a 150shot they were in little peices in my oil pan but then again i didnt pull enough timing

he was probably running stock timing, thats why. you need to ****** 2-3* per every 100.

My guess is he put it on and figured it would be fine and left the stock tune in it...with the cams and all.

I know he didn't go to where he said he was going to get tuned...so...it probably wasn't tuned at all. Or, he went to another local shop of which blown engines is a common occurrence when they build/tune stuff.

yeah, lol stock tune is good for the smaller 50-75 shots, as long as you have at least a wideband or a few dyno pulls to make sure everything is good. above 100 definately dyno time and tune compensation.

running that much without tune or with crap tune is just retarded, i have no sympathy, and god just killed a kitten for your stupidity.

Yea I know that now but when i was young and dum well you know...that was about ten years ago and it was carbed so there wasnt alot of tuning going on
