Old School Cartoons or New ones?

Boomerang is probably the greatest channel. You never get to see Rocky and Bullwinkle, Snorks, Smurfs, atom ant, Hong Kong Fuey, or any of those badass cartoons... Discuss.

Re: Old School Cartoons or New ones?

I'll go first.

I think the new stuff is great, very funny. You got The Simpsons to Family Guy.. Futurama to Aqua Teen.

in the past the jokes were all kind of dry, I only like watching Boomerang when it's kinda late and nothing is on. Cartoons to me in the past were just something to watch that didn't really make you laugh but you just kept watching because they were cartoons.

And I'm just going to throw this out there......... Scooby Doo sucks ***. I've always hated that show.

Re: Old School Cartoons or New ones?

yea i never was a fan of scooby... Aqua Teen, Family Guy, Futurama, and Sealab 2021 have my vote for the modern day cartoons... I love pretty much anything non-anime on adult swim... except for tom goes to the mayor....****ing hate that show... but i still love the old school cartoons like rocky and bullwinkle and rocko's modern life, ren and stimpy, snorks, smurfs....

Re: Old School Cartoons or New ones?

um your comparing an adult orient cartoon, Family Guy ATHF South Park and those likes to the likes of Snorks, Scooby doo, Hong Kong Fuey, DuckTales, Tale Spin, Looney Tunes, dont take any offense to this but your ****in retarded.

Old School cartoons ****in rock nothing like having little clues of drug use going on (hanana-barbera cartoons for sure) they were always taking to the next level (looney tunes where Daffy?? joins the germen army under Hilter.

Your not gonna see that in todays age thats for sure

and you thought scooby doo sucks *** wow just wow im shocked

Old School Cartoons FTW

Yeah I'm a ****** because I don't watch School cartoons that are geared towards elementary school kids, but you do. Don't know how that one works out... so what's on the Disney channel these days bud?

Looney Tunes was the ONLY thing I can stand watching. And it's DONALD who joined the German army. I've got the cartoon on my computer along with a **** load of other cartoons that were pulled for racism, violence, and were used for propaganda. Like the Looney Tunes where Bugs Bunny is handing out ice cream to the Japs when the ice cream cone was a grenade. Or popeye beating the crap out of the japs.

Now look at the time line, Looney Tunes came out before the Snorks, Scooby, all those others. I was just thinking about the **** that came out during that time period, and not earlier. Then we jump like 10 years ahead to Ducktales and Tale Spin (Tale Spin sucked btw, along with Darkwing Duck), which to me aren't too old because I was in elementary school watching that. I consider Snorks, Jabber Jaw, and the bunch to be old.
