Why on earth can't all the damn states have primaries at the same time? Why is it that the voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, Florida, and South Carolina (in that order) get to pick the presidential candidates for the whole rest of the country?
For what you just said: They want to be the influence. I think it should be illgal to hold elections for the same offices on different days. They make a big enough deal about the difference time zones make in voting
