BullRun on Spike TV

Against my will, I find myself a fan of this crazy car show.

I was pulling for the F150 (after the old stang tossed a rod)...

But my second choice WAS the Trans Am that won.

They are filming the new season right now.

Does anyone know what the cars are going to be on the new season?

I love the fact the lambo and exotics got knocked out early. Just goes to prove you can't get more reliable than good ol American autos.

One way they select the participants is from the CarDomain polls.

I have two friends of mine who are trying to get on BullRun listed in my sig line. Anyone interested in checking out their cars (both Mustangs, of course) just hit the linkds.

The way it works, you have to join CarDomain to vote (its free, and you get a big site you can call your own of course). There is a button on the left of the page that says "Rate this Ride". Hit that, and it opens out with the various 5 star polls set up by the individual. You just click on the number of stars you want to give that car (reading left to right).

You can vote for and against multiple cars, too.

If you want to see the entire BullRun field, at the top of the page is a "Ride" tab. Under it you'll see a "Top Rides" icon - hit that, and you are taken to a page where all the various competitions are listed. BullRun is on the bottom right. Hit that tab, and you see the latest rankings of the 1200+ cars competing to get on BullRun.

If its like it normally is, you might see my friend Nyt Runner's 2001 Bullit near the top, surrounded by a sea of Brand C and rice.

I thought it was an awesome show and I can't wait for the next season. I was happy the TA won. I liked the Mustang boys A) cause they had a sweet stang and B) They were from Alabama.

Navigating is the KEY! Look at how often some of them had to stop and ask directions - no way to win if you waste time at gas stations and wandering around the wrong road.

I must say, I've discussed this topic on other sites where it was mostly throw-downs on the cars without the insight that its the driving/navigating/dependability/strategy that wins this sort of contest! You guys seem to "get it".

I'm still arguin with one guy who keeps coming back to "but my car is faster than that car", when its obvious he would be the first one to get lost of lose time from car breakdowns and excessive gas stops.

Since his car is a pure drag race design, I finally just suggested he go on CarDomain and set up his own site and see how many votes he would get.

This seemed to make him happy!

But you guys are smart.

If you want to see the whole list of 1200+ cars competing on CarDomain to get the BullRun slots, just go to www.cardomain.com, hit the "Rides" tag at the top of the page, hit the "Top Rides button under that, and then on the page it takes you to, look at the bottom where it says "BullRun". Hit that button, and it takes you to the BullRun rankings, 20 cars to a page.

Re: BullRun on Spike TV

Darn it, the voting is almost done, and we're getting attacked by an unholy alliance of ricers and Australian Pontiacs!

Its beginning to look like the closest thing to a Mustang on the next series will be a Holden GTO - a Mitsubishi EVO - and a Chevy Cavalier.
