Beware of turkeys(now with pics)

Drove down to Williamsport for the last time the other day to get the last of my stuff. It has slipped my mind till now but I figured I would make a thread to let everyone know anyway.

Basically I have had very bad luck with my car since the rebuild. The hood came up on me in August(2 months after rebuild) and I hit a guardrail in November trying to be the Drift king.

Well the icing on the cake happened. ****ING TURKEYS.

On 118, same road the hood flew up on. Actually, it was pretty much in the same area of the 60 mile stretch I have to drive. A retarded female turkey comes strutting out from under the guardrail onto the right side shoulder. Im doing about 70 and see it step out maybe 100 feet in front of me.

So I instinctively swerve to the left lane and get on it trying to get by her before she does anything stupid. Well she did something stupid. Shes walking into the right lane as I swerve to the left and instead of just staying put or backtracking and SURVIVING it started to run at my car.

The damn suicide turkey ran at my car which was doing about 80 at this point and realized it wasnt going to beat me across so it tried to fly. It got a foot or so off the ground and I was on top of it. Railed it on the passenger side(busted up side thank god) and it flipped off my wiper blade into my less than 8 month old new windshield and shattered it. GOD DAMN TURKEY

So I have another busted windshield and a fresh coat of turkey blood on the roof.

Damn you wildlife gods.

Moral is, use bullet proof glass in my windshield from here on in...
