having a little trouble with shipping...

ok so i sold my old rims and tires on ebay. I went to home depot to buy a box, but it wasnt big enough, so i went to UPS to get them to put it in a box for me, but they said they dont have one big enough either...does anyone have any suggestions on another way to ship them??

put them in four seperate boxes.

this is what I did when I shipped out wheels before.


Get some cardboard and cut out circles to cover both sides of the tire, then punch some holes and zip tie them on, then either saranwrap the wheel or put plastic around them. Sent a set from here down to the south and didnt have any damage on them at all, hell even tirerack sends out their own wheels that way as well

+1. make sure to insure them just in case (i usually insure for double the items worth) that way if the shipper damages it, you can give the guy back his money and you make some dough as well.

Put them in individual boxes (you can use more than one box to make a box) and ship each on their own. Call UPS to come pick them up and save a ton.
