I will bring these in a non partisan view point so don't challenge me on these responses:
1. Republicans-About DEM's To much out of control spending. Republicans are accusing the Democrats as being Socialists. Health Care- you should see a good argument on that. Bush tax cuts allowed to expire- Republicans favor, but are upset at Democrats because no vote was taken to extend or not extend them.
2. Democrats about Republicans-- Republicans are out of touch with today's society. They are not helping the economy. Republicans want to take away from the poor by allowing the Bush tax cuts to stay in place. Accusing Republicans of being too Strict on immigration.
These are some off the top of my head. The best way to find info is read about 2-3 different sources, watch the news, and listen to talk radio.(Not just sports talk radio) Just vary your mediums and if something you hear really interests you read up on it. In general politics are slow right now since it is campaign season. However, there is some good campaigning going on out there. (I'm a media/ news junkie and journalist student with a focus on Business and marketing)
