Re: Crimes, accidents and other occurrences

The Provost Marshal Office provided the following list of reported incidents:

Aug. 2: An individual was found to be operating his motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license after stopping at Gate 10. He was issued a violation notice and released.

Aug. 4: A van was stopped at Gate 9, and the driver smelled of an alcoholic beverage. A series of field sobriety tests were conducted and he failed. He was arrested and transported to the police station. He failed the breathalyzer tests and was placed in the detention cell. During the course of the paperwork, it was discovered that he and his passenger were illegal aliens. INS was contacted. Before being released and after receiving two citations, he was turned over to the INS agents.

Traffic accidents reported: Five without injuries, none with injuries.

Violation notices issued: 12 speeding, 1 failure to obey traffic control device, 1 driving under the influence of alcohol, 1 driving with a suspended driver's license, 1 failure to yield, 3 improper backing.

Re: Crimes, accidents and other occurrences

Well, we finally had another crime week that I thought might be interesting enough to pass it on to everybody...

The Provost Marshal Office provided the following list of reported incidents:

Sept. 15: An individual cashed three money grams issued by Wal-Mart, which were found to be counterfeit, unknown to her. But a check through National Crime Information Center revealed an outstanding warrant from the Huntsville Police Department. She was arrested by the Redstone Police and later released to the Huntsville Police Department.

Sept. 16: An individual attempted to enter Gate 10 with an expired ID. When asked he twice gave the officers wrong information. When patted down, a wallet was found which contained his correct information. A check through NCIC revealed two misdemeanor warrants from a Georgia police department. They declined to extradite; and he was issued a court summons and released.

Traffic accidnets reported: two without injuries, none with injuries.

Violation notices issued: 6 speeding, 2 failure to obey traffic control device, 1 expired driver's license, 1 failure to use seatbelts, 1 expired registration, 5 cell phone policy violation.

Re: Crimes, accidents and other occurrences

Finally had another one with a crime worth reporting...

The Provost Marshal Office provided the following list of reported incidents:

March 25: An individual stopped at Gate 9 to obtain a visitor's pass, but did not have his driver's license. A check through NCIC revealed that his license was suspended. He was issued a violation notice and released. His vehicle was secured at the gate awaiting a licensed driver. The individual who came to pick up the vehicle was checked and their license was suspended; and since they were driving, they were issued a violation notice and released. Awhile later, two more people arrived to pick up the vehicle. When the driver taking the vehicle was checked to ensure her license was valid, a misdemeanor warrant from Limestone County existed. A check with Limestone County revealed the warrant was active. She was arrested by Redstone Police and released to a Limestone County deputy.

Re: Crimes, accidents and other occurrences

my favoritest thing to do, is when they give false info and i still find their real info AND the warrants that go along with it. i've actually sat down in front of someone and said "is this your picture?" "yes" "is this your drivers license" "yes" "then this is your warrant!"

hahaha i love my job
