Re: F-14's Shredded

Hopefully they are playing "Danger Zone" in the background as they destroy each one...

Re: F-14's Shredded

I wouldn't say sucks, but definitely sad to hear.

On a barely related note, we had an Air Show recently held here. An editorial letter in the paper, from a reader, brought her kids to the show and as the bombers and Blue Angels soared over head thought to herself how many kids probably heard the same sound before they were bombed.

That pissed me off.

Then two days later was another editorial addressing her how perhaps some people think of it that way but how the truth was they stand for such great freedom and how happy millions of troops must be to hear those... knowing that help was on the way.

Damn liberals. Glad that second guy wrote in.

But back to what's on hand, tis such a shame that something so great must come to an end.

Re: F-14's Shredded

How about all the kids that probably heard a loud explosion before being blasted with shrapnel from a car bomb? I'm sure that's got quite a different ring to it.

Re: F-14's Shredded

I know they are keeping a few (was watching something on it). They keep a few aside for special occasions (air shows), for parts too I think, and just incase they need them they can put them back in service.
