Aww.

My friend had that Fox you have as her first car back in high school. It wasn't vert but it was the same two tone. We had a blast in that thing. She wrecked it, though.

Re: pets and names

Ive had nothing but Rotties,5 to be exact. The last one (Caine) Ive had since he was 6 weeks old.He was 12 and I had to put him down 2 months ago,his hind legs just gave up on him.Sad part was he was the smartest most trainable and easiest to train out of all of them and his heart and mind were in perfect condition.I refused to put him through the pain of surgery and months upon months of rehab just so he could live another yr or so.
He never had table scraps of any kind and was the most obedient of all my Rotties. He was 130lbs of viscious beast and at the same time 130lbs of a big ol teddy bear who would play with my 2yr old and take any abuse that child would throw at him.He has stuck beside me though a divorce and the death of my nephew and was always there to greet me when i came home from work.

So yeah.......he was my best friend.....and now hes gone.

RIP
Caine

Awww, RIP Caine.

Rajah, our German Shepherd was allergic to everything and it took us forever but the vet finally said that to us, too. Amazing dog.

Re: pets and names

I have been debating on getting another dog right now because of training a dog and having a 2 yr old at the same time is gonna be hell but thanks to this thread I went looking on CL lastnight. I'm not one to adopt and have only owned purebreds but I found a sweet little 2yr old purebred PitBull that would be the perfect fit for us. Her name is Alice and she is fully house and kennel trained.Unlike most owners who can't keep their pets because of a living situation this lady does not want a adoption fee,she only wants a good home for her Alice.I think Alice would fit in perfect at our house and into our family so I sent her a email and I'm waiting for a response.

Wish me luck.

When I was a little girl, I always wanted a cat. So one day I went over to a farm house that my aunt had and picked out a little gray and white-striped kitten. She let me put her in one of those boxes that those frozen pretzels come in at the grocery store. I should add that my family had no idea that I went over to bring one home. So, I brought her home on my bike, and (to add some humor to this clever stunt) told everyone that my aunt had given us a box of frozen pretzels! Obviously, to their surprise a kitten popped out of the box! So we finally decided to name her after her little box, Pretzel She ended up being one of the best little additions to our family than we ever imagined!
