Disagree. Your not going to see an increase in quality just becuase subscribers jump boat. AT&T has terrible quality Dropped calls/Not receiving calls They can claim 97% coverage but it's terrible. They need major network restructure and increase in quality. It's rumored that GSM will be phased out (let's face it, it's old technology) and from what I understand HPSA is not the future of cell phone companies either. AT&T can blame it on network overload but I call BS. Verizon is still the largest subscriber based provider and they don't face the issues AT&T blames on overload. Although, I can imagine we will see a decrease in Verizon customer service and cell quality in the next year as even more subscribers jump boat.

I'll stick with Sprint (10 years and running)
Oops, uh my bad. I should've said "With the iPhone going to Verizon, with Verizon's service I know Verizon's service will change the personal experience with the iPhone than what people had with AT&T" Sorry for having ya write up all that, I know AT&T sucks

Re: Post your cell phone family tree.

So last week I stood in line waiting to purchase the HTC Thunderbolt at 6:30 in the morning. The Verizon store was full of employees getting ready for the huge rush, unfortunately for them there was only 5 of us outside waiting. Well, I got my Thunderbolt and I friggin love it. The huge screen, the HTC widgets, and the 4G speed is awesome. Battery kind of sucks tho

I have AT&T and I thought it was a good idea to switch from Verizon just to get the iPhone 3GS it's a good phone but AT&T charges $100-$200 per month WHEN your service is cut off, it sucks and I'm not gonna pay my AT&T phone bills anymore. If I'm lucky I'll find my Verizon LG VX5500 and turn it back on, which is gonna be a great idea. My current AT&T bill is over $700 after being shut off for 2-3 months, I gotta tell you, Verizon IS the best.

IDK what my first phone was but my second and most favorite phone was my LG VX5500. Then I have my recent shut off phone which is my 3GS.

Re: Post your cell phone family tree.

Alright, I highly recommend the HTC Thunderbolt. Awesome phone. Battery was getting ridiculous, but I downloaded an app that turns the 4G off and it saves a **** load of battery life. Which, when you think about it, do you really need 4G when you are checking the weather with the weather widget, or sending a text? No! 3G is just fine. I switch on the 4G when I need to download other apps, use the GPS (and in that case I plug it in while I use it), or anything else internet heavy. Great phone though, love it.

Let's see...I started off with the Blackberry Storm (first generation) then switched to the HTC Incredible. The incredible was a great phone but a little small for me. I know have the Motorola Droid X and love it. Thinking about getting a xoom when 4G comes to my area.

The glorious bag phone.
