They never want to race... I bet he keeps talking smack though. Had a guy at work with a caviler... stock except for exhaust and he spray painted the engine. He kept telling everyone he could beat me but would never say it to me. I thought it was funny as hell because I never had to hear about it while he drove everyone else nuts.

And I have to ask, why the 22" man? All that they do is slow you down because the more rotational mass, i never go larger. Than 18, cuz when you lower your car it ofsets the size and makes them proportionate... That's just my opinion

Re: Ricer cook up

Professionals use paint booths. They are heated, so no worries about the cold there.

It's fine to get painted in the winter, actually the best time because you can usually get a discount on the work. It's safe because the shops they do it in are heated to 70+ degrees for optimum primer and paint drying....

yeah its putting it into mother nature after being released from the shop that im worried about lol. ik the paint isnt settled in all the way after picking the car up. which is why they tell you not to wash the paint job without a weeks delay. im thinking of just priming it black until then

Ya and they won't let it out into the cold until it's completely set... Because if they do they are guaranteed to lose money... FYI painting isn't a one day job so let the shop keep her for a few days minimum and go rent a car, the discount will pay for the rental on it's own...

You're kidding right? That car has now been labeled one of the PETOM cars... Plus the only time those work is on a rear engine car for breathability....

lol i cant blame you. but i use her for looks and to turn heads. i've raced a 00 mustang v6 and leftd it in the dust. till this day i dont understand why. but if i take the rims off im sure id get curious. the faster she is, the faster ill end up in front of blue lights. i've had 6 tickets before doing the 22. so i gez its for prevention and show LOL
