The Most Polite Robbery Ever

I have never seen anything like this. It's hilarious but also reminds me of the harsh times we are in and the things people will do to keep a roof over their heads and some food on there plate.

Re: The Most Polite Robbery Ever

it's really sad..you could see the lack of intent of bodily harm. he had the the trigger indexed the entire time...from the moment he first brandished the fire arm till the moment he put it away. unfortunatly it's still aggravated robbery...hopefully the prosecutor will see it the way i looked at it.

According to some of the comments, the guy had previously been locked up for armed robbery. I wouldn't be so quick to buy into his sob story.

True. Same could be said for an armed robber.

Re: The Most Polite Robbery Ever

There are some ****ty people in this world that know how to talk the talk and make it seem like they are angels. Maybe I'm just cynical, but I've gotten to where I assume people are low-lifes and make them prove otherwise.

Could be because I just found out yesterday someone stole my credit card info and racked up a bunch of charges too though...

Re: The Most Polite Robbery Ever

I didn't buy it from the beginning. I'd love to nail this guy, he looked and acted like a serial robber. I've worked in retail long enough to know the stupid things people do. I once had guy try and trick me out of $30 worth of socks he threw all the packaging in the trash. I played along till I rang the sale up. I saw the whole thing.

I saw that on the news here. A thief is a thief. Black and white guys, this shouldn't be a grey area.... What if the guy didn't up the money. Would he shoot him politely... Just sayin

I see what you're saying and I don't feel sorry for this guy one bit now, but I know that if bad sh** happened in my life, that gray area for me would be jacking a can of formula to feed my son.
It's still stealing, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do, not saying this guy was in the right at all though.

I have done bad things in tough times. I am in no way innocent... And the judge found me guilty. In my experience I stole cause I was too lazy to try harder. I cannot judge this man as I have done far worse. However he could have made a different decision

Re: The Most Polite Robbery Ever

I agree. If the guy stole a pack of diapers... Or maybe some bread or something... that would be one thing. Holding someone up for cash tells me that the money is probably gonna be used for one thing, and it ain't food.

I would agree... If it was to feed him or his family shoplifting is a far lesser crime and is defensible in court simply because you are stealing food... I ain't judging as every person deals with adversity in a different way

According to the Seattle report things, he used an airsoft gun. I'm not backing the guy up, but just saying.

I conceal and carry and I'll tell you this, someone pulls out an airsoft gun at me and they will get shot. And by law it would be justified. Toy guns look so damn real nowadays who is to say its not real.

Doesn't matter even if you put your hand in your pocket and pretend it's a gun it's armed robbery. Too many people are killed over this stuff for it to be taken lightly.
