I confess

I live in the "tech" industry.. I avoid it at home.

I don't have a home phone
I don't have cable TV

I've never considered myself a tech snob, but...

I currently have 4 Macbooks, 1 Powerbook, 1 PC, 1 Desktop.. 2 LCD TV's, an ipad, 4 ipod touches, 4 other ipods, 5 GPS units, etc...

But I've always taken the "free" phone with my cellular service. I finally upgraded about a year ago to unlimited texting... but nothing fancy..

well - I took the big plunge and got an iPhone 4 on Sunday.. OMFG... what have I been missing?!?!? This thing is awesome.. my phone bill is going from $69 (for 3 lines) to like $150, but WW

Need a phone that works in the UK, India, Australia and what not (which this doesn't because its Vz) but couldn't pull the trigger on an android phone - but totally love this device..

I can't stand to be away from it - like forgetting to grab it when I go to the bathroom.... It's never more than 12" from my fingertips... Wow

+1 It's awesome right. Too bad it doesn't have flash, but than again if it did it just might explode from awesomeness.

Meh...I wish I could still find a brick somewhere. Still no internet/email/etc on my phone. It calls and texts, that's enough.

Linux is the kiddie O/S? Ha.

You do realize pretty much every server in the world these days that does anything of any significance is running Linux right? I would be willing to be that the ME servers are running RHEL with Apache.

They sure as hell aren't running OS X...

Yup. Just RHEL re-compiled minus some logos and virtualization packages. Like it or not, the Internet runs on Linux.

Love my iPhone 4. Couldn't imagine life without it. When it dies I think I have withdrawals even if it's only for a few minutes. Haha

Re: I confess

I have a 27" CRT TV, an old BlackBerry Pearl, and a Vaio that needs to be scrapped.

I am ok with this.
