Re: What did you do today?

I installed 14" Brembo's on the front of the 427R, in about two hours, in the driveway... Still need to pick up the tools and parts... Front tires are shot....

Worked my butt off on the wife's xterra...changed oil & oil filter, replaced air filter, replaced cabin air filter, replaced spark plugs, did a transmission mod (prevent the strawberry milkshake of death), replaced front brake pads, flushed/bleed brake fluid and cleaned all brake pins and clips. Tomorrow will be detail day.

Thanks for that, clear corners w/switchback LED's & amber LED's are next up but I honestly don't know the first thing about electrical so I'm having a shop do all of the installation.

Mine did yesterday! Glad you had a blasty blast!

I am writing/researching/uploading photos right now, haha. I did get to see my friend's tattoo that I drew for him. Making my Hawaii checklist and packing.

Re: What did you do today?

I got forced home from work..lol..so a day off that doesn't count against me...I'm down except losing 12 hours..UGH. My partner called off and they couldn't get anyone in on short notice..then had a few choice words with my boss via text message later because she is professional like that! So yea..can you tell I need a new job?! Hell a new profession at that! OH and they won't make up my hours any other time this week because they have no openings and somehow all this is my fault cuz I show up for work?! Ok off my soap box now!

Mentally prepping myself for work. You know when you have that moment of clarity when you truly realize you should be doing something different? That's what I'm thinking right at this moment..

After been off on sick leave for 2 weeks, I go back to work to be told that they are cutting short my assignment. They just gave me my month notice, will have to go back to my crappy position.

Agreed, my ole lady may be between jobs when she gets back in town 2 weeks from now. If that happens we are royally screwed financially until she gets work.

Depending on your location, it can be. The national state of affairs definitely isn't what it once was but work can be found if you're flexible. Are you in England?

Re: What did you do today?

Today, I finalized a review of a business case for an $893k capex spend, and completed an executive summary of a $3M project. Additionally, I had an HVAC company come in and drain the stuff from two freezers, had one laborer in to do some finish trim work, and a painter in to start prep/priming of the inside of the store. Oh yeah - had to go get snacks for my daughters softball team, attended the game, arranged supervision for my midnight work tomorrow, packed the "field trip lunch" for my son, did dishes, laundry, responded to *eleventy billion emails* and most importantly - checked in on M.E.!
